BOSTON, Jan. 23 /Standard Newswire/ -- In his address tonight, President Bush is expected to roll out a new health care plan that will, among other things, propose a tax deduction of $7,500 for individuals and twice that for families. According to Regina Herzlinger, "a tax deduction is great, but the President also needs to take care of the uninsured.
"Beyond that, capping the employers' deductions is foolish because employers' contributions for health care are really salary. By capping the contribution, the President is punishing those who get paid more in health care than in salary, such as members of labor unions."
