Luis Palau Association Launches Light Your World Featuring Andrew and Wendy Palau, Top Musical Artists, and More
NEWS PROVIDED BY
Luis Palau Association
Dec. 7, 2021

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 7, 2021 /Standard Newswire/ -- In a grand effort to share hope with millions around the world, the Luis Palau Association will host a global, cinematic Gospel experience on December 31, 2021. The online event, called Light Your World, will be a 1-hour digital program featuring music from top Christian artists, messages of hope, and stories from people who were rescued at their darkest moment. It will premiere online on Facebook and on www.lightyourworld.live, at 7 p.m. (pacific), 10 p.m. (eastern), on December 31, 2021.

The Palau team is encouraging churches and individuals around the world to tune in, share it with their friends, and host watch parties. But more than that, in the weeks leading up to the premiere, believers have an opportunity to take the "Light Your World Challenge." As they commit to share the Good News in 2022, they will be equipped with practical evangelism resources that will inspire them to share the light of Christ in their everyday life.

The vision for Light Your World—just like all live Palau Festivals—is for believers to use this event as a tool to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with their friends and family. The event will include music from TobyMac as well as Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine from Maverick City Music. Moving, personal stories will be shared from Danny Gokey, Darren Mulligan of We Are Messengers, Myrka Dellanos, and more. Worldwide evangelists, Andrew and Wendy Palau, will share inspiring messages of hope throughout the program.

And it doesn't end at the stroke of midnight. Throughout the month of January 2022, geo-targeted ads will deliver short rescue stories from contributors around the globe, inviting people to pray and respond to the Gospel. The Palau team will use these Gospel ads to reach every continent on earth—aiming to ultimately send them to 50 million people, giving them an opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Using Palau's Hope with God platform (www.facebook.com/hopewithgodpage) with nearly 20 million online followers, the team is prayerful that this event will encourage and inspire millions around the world.
