The 2007 NAB Show garnered 26,824 international attendees from 166 countries. Of the 105,259 people at the 2008 NAB Show, a record-high 28,310 were international attendees, with a 17 percent increase in attendance from South America, 25 percent increase from Eastern Europe, 21 percent from India and 20 percent increase from Central Asia. The total number of international companies exhibiting at the 2008 NAB Show reached 451, representing 28 percent of all 2008 NAB Show exhibitors.
In addition to being recognized as the trade show with highest global participation, the NAB Show was also among a group of 100 expositions honored for the "gold standard" they have set in the trade show industry.
