WASHINGTON, Feb. 16, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- KBHP-FM Bemidji, MN will be the second station to receive the NAB Crystal Heritage Award, recognizing a radio station's long-term commitment to community service. The award will be presented during the NAB Show Radio Luncheon, sponsored by ASCAP, on Tuesday, April 12 in Las Vegas.

The Crystal Heritage Award is given to a station that has won five Crystal Radio Awards, an annual award that recognizes a radio station's year-round commitment to community service. Having earned its first Crystal Radio Award in 1994, KBHP-FM is the second station in history to achieve such a milestone.
