YORKVILLE, Ohio, Oct. 3, 2019 /Standard Newswire/ -- The past year has been a tough one for the Chrisagis Brothers who were so popular on YouTube that they were asked by A&E to star in their very own reality series four years ago. The Brothers have won numerous awards and attention world-wide with 500 videos on YouTube, each having a million or more views. They even had their own radio show called "It's A God Thing" that interviewed Hollywood Royalty.
But in October 2018, last Halloween, the twin brothers lost their dad to pneumonia and were shocked to find their once successful YouTube account was hacked and all their videos were totally deleted and gone. There were also a few stalkers and crazed fans that nearly destroyed the twins last year. Additionally the brothers were in an awful car wreck and lost their 32 room home/office space. That is just some of the craziness that has taken place in the Chrisagis Brothers' lives since last October.
The Brothers, however, are no strangers to struggles and hardships, they fought to stay alive when they were premature infants and the doctors had given them up for dead. But their godly mother and family fought to keep them alive. That is part of their amazing testimony that is now a book called "A Legacy Of Love." The book chronicles four generations of their amazing family who had more drama than a Danielle Steele Novel yet they survived the odds through Christ.
The book was released after their dad's death and after loosing everything. The twins say it was a healer for them after loosing it all to pen their story and release the past to move forward to a new future. It hasn't been easy, but so far in this year of 2019, the Brothers have written a book and starred in a TV sit-com pilot for a new family TV series called "Double Occupancy" by Chip Rossetti Productions that also stars Comics Torry Martin and Henry Cho, plus Gospel great Angela Primm. They didn't stop their, they held another woman's conference with legendary actress and model Jennifer O'Neill and super model and TV hostess Cristina Ferrare. The Brothers have also traveled non-stop every week in a different state in full-time ministry and created an infomercial that will be released on every Christian Network about their book produced by one of Christian TV's biggest directors, Warren Marcus, and hosted by beloved hostess Dorothy Spaulding. The Chrisagis Brothers also made an appearance in the new award winning Russ Taff DVD called "I Still Believe" about one of the greatest legendary male vocalist of all time.
If that weren't enough the brothers released a new Christian Music CD by award winning producer and arranger Jamie Peck and signed with a new record company, Southern Brewed Records, that Mark Potts owns and operates. With this new CD the award winning duo has done it again with their 9th CD in a row of hit recordings.
This offering called "The Color Of Love" has a new Southern Rock / Gospel flare that combines the great contemporary style they have become known for with some of the best ballads you will ever hear. This CD is filled with storytelling songs, that are part of their Italian culture, mixed in with their southern roots sound that can be compared to Hall and Oates and Brooks and Dunn. This new sound is from a life's journey that has not ever been easy. The Brothers have suffered much heartache and faced many trials but through those scars they have richer vocals that go deep into the soul.
The twins' credits include a generation of hits from their earliest offerings that made them the first Christian Music Artists on MTV and earned them Duo of the Year in Christian Music plus numerous award nominations that total 15 awards in all. This CD will become their most beloved offering for fans both young and old and will capture new fans as well. The pain they have lived through is expressed in their mature voices in songs like: "Trapeze," "Only Passing By," and "Balm In Gilead" that will grab your heart strings. This latest release includes tracks with strong unstoppable vocal ranges in songs like: "Middle Of The Road," "The Way Of The Cross" and "I Wrote It In Red." This CD has it all including some great catchy tunes like "In His Word," "Good God Almighty" and cross-over songs like: "God Is Everywhere (What A Wonderful World)" and "Life Got In The Way." "The Color Of Love" has something for everyone. There's also a cool, soulful Doobie Brothers or Michael McDonald R&B beat called "Stand Up and Be Counted," a funk song called "Friends In High Places" and a love song called "I See Jesus In You." The three last songs on the CD bring the message of the Gospel to the listener with great love and emotion in the songs "Somewhere It's Snowing," "God Loves You" and the song most likely to be a hit single called "Somebody's Praying For You." This is the CD for this generation. It will inspire, uplift, touch, and change lives and inspire the listener to get serious in their journey because life is "Only Passing By."
