SOMERSET, N.J., May 10, 2019 /Standard Newswire/ -- Former Drug Kingpins and Ex-Cons, The Feurtado Brothers, are scheduled to speak at the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens (FBCLG) Men's Conference on Friday, May 17, 2019 and Saturday, May 18, 2019. The FBCLG Men's Conference is set to energize, evangelize, and empower men from all walks of life. Dr. DeForest B. Soaries, Jr., Senior Pastor of FBCLG, has invited the Feurtado Brothers, Lance and Todd, to share their story of gang activity and drug distribution, how they were caught, and the positive changes made after life in prison.
The Feurtado Brothers were Queens, New York Natives and leaders of a gang, Seven Crowns. They got their start in the 70's under mentorship from other Drug Kingpins at the time and grew to run their own illegal, yet successful business in drug trafficking. They started out selling marijuana and later advanced to selling heroine and cocaine. The brothers were known to some as the, "30 Million a Week Crew," bringing in millions of dollars weekly by running this narcotics enterprise. Years of dedication to this life came with consequences as they were arrested in 1995. After serving a 10-year prison sentence, the Feurtado Brothers vowed to make positive change and be a voice to youth and gang members on the road to destruction.
"The Fertaudo Brothers have a life changing story that will inspire all of us to strive for better lives and bring someone else along with us," said Dr. Soaries.
The Feurtado Brothers released a documentary, "Kings of Kings" to share their story and get a message across to adolescents headed down the wrong path. They make it their mission to speak at various places and are advocates for making positive change.
The FBCLG Men's Conference will not only have the Feurtado Brothers, but experts from Dallas, Baltimore, Chicago, and Las Vegas. The conference is free and open to men of all ages and will be held at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset Street, Somerset, New Jersey. Doors open at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
