The Super Session will include a panel discussion moderated by CNET editor Brian Cooley. Content providers, distributors and consumer electronics experts will meet to discuss what consumers want from portable media devices and what opportunities exist for programmers, carriers and manufacturers.
As co-founder and CEO of Sling Media, Inc., Krikorian helped produce Slingbox, a unique product that provides "anytime-anywhere" access to video sources located in the home. This development defines a new "placeshifting" market in portable media devices.
Krikorian began his career at General Magic before co-founding the Phillips Mobile Computing Group. As a group product manager, Krikorian co-led the team that created and marketed the prized Velo 1 Windows CE Handheld PC. Following his work at Phillips, Krikorian served as senior vice president at Metis Associates, where he created the company, Mainbrace Corporation.
