ATLANTA, Oct. 9, 2019 /Standard Newswire/ -- Regina Caeli Academy (RCA) is leading the trend of homeschool hybrid programs in the Catholic and classical tradition, expanding this fall to 16 centers and affiliates in 13 cities, 10 states, and the United Kingdom. RCA is projecting nearly 20% growth from the 2018-2019 school year to this year, 2019-2020.

"Families have been looking for a resource to not only socialize their homeschooled children but also be supported in their desire to be the primary educators of the Catholic faith – we have met those needs and have expanded now on an international level to serve more families," said Mrs. Kari Beckman, executive director and founder of Regina Caeli Academy.

Regina Caeli Academy, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a private and independent pre-school through 12th grade homeschool resource center. Fundamentally, RCA is committed to faithful adherence to the Holy Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church with particular obedience to the pope.

Students are homeschooled three days a week and spend the other two days at RCA, where they are classically trained in the unbroken tradition and teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, the Ignatian Principles of Education, and the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius.

"We receive anywhere from 10-15 inquiries a month from families who want to have the RCA model in their towns and cities and are working towards bringing our wonderful school model to as many places as possible and helping parents in their efforts to homeschool their children in the Catholic tradition," said Beckman.

RCA began in 2003 in Atlanta as a simple means to provide support to area Catholic homeschoolers. They had one building, ten families, 30 students and delivered an orthodox classical education model that served as an authentically Catholic, affordable, viable, and successful option, especially for large families. RCA's reputation spread rapidly and today they have more than 1,200 students and 440 families participating nationally at academies around the country – a number which will grow this fall as they expand internationally.

"The growth of RCA has been fast and tremendous," said Beckman. "So many Catholic families have thrived with the Catholic homeschool hybrid model and have formed lasting communities through the school. It's not surprising more cities want RCA in their communities and we hope to meet all of those demands."

Regina Caeli Academy will be hosting touring events at all 16 centers on October 14th.
