King Mohammed VI Condemns the Paris Terror Attacks, Pledges Solidarity with the French People

ROCKVILLE, Md., Nov. 15, 2015 /Standard Newswire/ -- Morocco's King Mohammed VI on Saturday sent messages of support and condolence to the French government and people of France following the deadly Paris attacks.
At least 128 people were killed and 300 wounded in six separate attacks at a concert hall, restaurants and the national stadium.
"I would like to condemn in the strongest terms on behalf of the Moroccan people and in my own name these vile terrorist acts and express our full solidarity and support in this ordeal,'' said the sovereign in the message to President Hollande.
''It is with deep emotion that I heard the sad news of the cowardly terrorist attacks that simultaneously targeted on Friday several neighborhoods in Paris and the France Stadium area. In these painful events, I offer my most saddened condolences to you, to the innocent victims' families and to the entire French people as well as my earnest wishes of prompt recovery to the wounded," added the monarch.
HM King Mohammed VI also sent a message to French Prime Minister Manuel Valls.
While condemning in the strongest terms these horrendous attacks, HM the King expressed in his own name and on behalf of the Moroccan people to the French prime minister Morocco's full solidarity and support.
"I am convinced that the French security forces will be able to triumph over the authors of these abominable criminal acts and that thanks to the French peoples' mobilization and determination to defend their lofty values, your country will victoriously face this terrible experience," said the King in his message to Valls.
