Planned Parenthood Hurts Women: Luana Stoltenberg to Testify Before Congress
Contact: Allan E. Parker, The Justice Foundation, 210-614-7157, info@txjf.org

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Oct. 8, 2015 /Standard Newswire/ -- One of the courageous women of Operation Outcry, Luana Stoltenberg, has been asked to testify today, Thursday, October 8, at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) before the House Judiciary Committee.  The Judiciary Committee will be holding a hearing titled "Planned Parenthood Exposed:  Examining Abortion Procedures and Medical Ethics at the Nation's Large Abortion Provider."  The hearing will be live-streamed on the website of the House Judiciary Committee at judiciary.house.gov/index.cfm/hearings.

The Justice Foundation through its Operation Outcry ministry has collected over 4,500 testimonies of women hurt by abortion. Many state they are former patients of Planned Parenthood, who became victims of the abortion industry in Planned Parenthood facilities or through Planned Parenthood referrals and suffered devastating trauma as a result.  Others represent the harm of abortion to many women, no matter who provided the abortion.

"Since Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in the United States, it is the single greatest abortion trauma provider to women in America.  Experts conservatively estimate at least 10-20% of abortions result in documentable mental trauma such as suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, severe depression, anxiety, nightmares, sexual dysfunction, eating disorders and so much more.  10-20% of one million patients a year would be at least 100,000 to 200,000 women per year injured by abortion.  Over just one decade that number could be at least one to two million.  Those numbers may be seriously under-reported, due to the shame, guilt, and secrecy of abortion," according to Allan E. Parker, President of The Justice Foundation.
