World's Largest Children's Ministry Announces New President, Jeremiah Cho

WARRENTON, Mo., July 6, 2022 /Standard Newswire/ -- Child Evangelism Fellowship is an international, nonprofit, Christian ministry that has been teaching the Bible to children since 1937. CEF has 400 offices in the USA and is organized in most nations of the world, with over 3,700 paid staff and hundreds of thousands of volunteers. In its last ministry year, CEF ministered to over 16 million children in its teaching ministries, the majority of which is face-to-face.
In May, the CEF family celebrated the 33 years that Reese Kauffman served as the ministry's President. He has served full time with CEF over the past 34 years in a number of roles including Local Director and National Director for CEF South Korea where he directed a staff of over 200 workers reaching 325,000 children.
He was a missionary to Sri Lanka and opened the country to CEF ministry. From 2014 to the present, he has served as Regional Director in a sensitive region with 28 countries, expanding that ministry from 137 to 387 workers, and expanding the reach of children from 700,000 annually to approximately 7.5 million children annually, pre-COVID.
