ReelDreams Film Competition Offers Full Tuition Scholarship

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Oct. 24, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- Regent University's fifth annual ReelDreams Film Competition is now accepting submissions. During the submission period, entrants may submit a redemptive film to Regent University. The submission period ends Jan. 27, 2012.
 
The top seven finalists will experience a VIP weekend in Virginia Beach, Va., for the Live Event on March 31, 2012. The winners will be announced at this time. The grand prize winner will receive a full-tuition scholarship to film school at Regent University. ReelDreams scholarship opportunities have expanded this year. In addition to the grand prize of a full tuition scholarship, the top 20 finalists will be awarded partial scholarships. This competition is open to prospective undergraduate and graduate students.
 
Films must be 3-5 minutes long and portray character(s) facing a moral dilemma that leads to good or bad consequences. Redemptive-themed documentaries are also accepted. The entrant must be the sole writer, producer and director of the film.
