NORFOLK, Va., Nov. 1, 2018 /Standard Newswire/ -- In 2011, E.W. Jackson released a viral video titled "Exodus Now," which called upon black voters to exit the Democrat Party. Today, he has launched another video with the same emphasis. Says the Bishop, "We call on black Christians to stop allowing liberals to ride their backs into office."
In the earlier video, Bishop Jackson urged Americans of African descent not to vote for Democrats. In this new video he goes one step further and urges black voters to vote Republican. "Voting the righteousness of God is going to mean voting Republican because the platform of the Republican Party is pro-life, pro-Family and pro-Christian," he says. "The platform of the Democrat Party is anti-life, anti-Marriage, anti-family and anti-Christian."
Jackson cites the contempt that Senate Democrats have shown to Bible believing Christians who claim that Jesus is the only way to heaven. "In nomination hearings," says the Bishop, "Bernie Sanders, Diane Feinstein and Dick Durban attacked Christian nominees as bigots and haters for asserting that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Democrat Party elites have decided that being a Bible believing Christian is un-American."
The Bishop also points to the increasing influence of socialism on the Democrat Party as a red flag for Christians. "Socialism is Marxism," says Jackson. "A foundational principle of Marxism is that there is no God, and the state is supreme. That is anathema to Christianity and we should never vote for any candidate who embraces socialism."
Bishop Jackson has been speaking to churches and pastors across the country to mobilize Christians to vote in the November 6 election. Jackson says, "What I am seeing as I travel is that the Democrat Party is recruiting socialists to run for office. Republicans are recruiting Pastors and Christians. That tells us everything we need to know."
