HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 3, 2021 /Standard Newswire/ -- "Truth Alive!," a celebration of hope, love and healing that transforms, will be held rain or shine at the Performance Pavilion on the west end of Bushnell Park in downtown Hartford on the weekend of October 16-17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open to the public, the free event will feature local praise bands, recorded music by popular Christian artists, inspirational preaching and teaching by local pastors, powerful prayer, answers to life's most perplexing questions, and remarkable testimonies of local people who have experienced lasting victory over fear, emptiness, loneliness, rejection, abuse, low self-esteem or addiction through God's amazing love.

Truth Alive will be an inter-denominational, multi-cultural celebration of Christ that attracts people from various churches across Connecticut and beyond. The downtown Hartford location is conveniently accessible by foot, bicycle, bus, train, taxi, car, van or airplane. Dress is casual. No tickets are required. Attendees may bring their own chairs, blankets, umbrellas, lunches and beverages (no alcohol) and stay as long as they like. Food and beverages will be for sale on-site.

Organizers say attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy the refreshing fall weather, colorful foliage, panoramic urban skyline, and inspirational atmosphere. The event is appropriate for Bushnell Park, which was originally conceived by the Rev. Horace Bushnell in 1853. Bushnell, for whom the park was named, was a well-known Hartford pastor who once said that "God listens for nothing so tenderly, as when His children help each other by their testimonies to His goodness and the way in which He has brought them deliverance."

Based in Cheshire, Connecticut, Truth Alive is a new, all-volunteer, donation-funded non-profit domestic non-stock faith-based corporation. For details, directions and promotional tools, please visit www.TruthAlive.today.
