BEDFORD, Texas, Feb. 8, 2024 /Standard Newswire/ -- KiDs Beach Club® (KBC) and Iran Alive Ministries have completed the translation of the first 20 episodes of KBC-Television into Farsi for direct broadcast into Iran via satellite.
Now the translations are complete, the first episodes of KBC-TV (Season 3) are being broadcast directly to approximately six million homes in Iran three times a week. This marks the first time KBC-Television programming has been translated into another language. KBC-TV is broadcast into more than 200 countries in English, and now potentially 140 million Farsi-speaking people in the Middle East.
"Iran Alive Ministries strongly believes that the Christian movement needs to remain alive. It only takes one generation to utterly remove a Christian movement from any nation, including Iran," said Dr. Hormoz Shariat, founder and president of Iran Alive Ministries. "We, as believers, must stand strong for Christianity to take deep roots in our children, teens, and adults in Iran."
"Our partnership with Iran Alive allows us to share the Gospel of Jesus with millions of preteens in Iran and surrounding nations in their own language," said Dr. Frank Banfill, executive vice president of KiDs Beach Club®. "Iran Alive has a tremendous ministry and unique ability to reach into a nation where Christianity is essentially considered illegal. Our goal with Iran Alive is to translate our remaining 35 episodes of KBC-TV into Farsi in the coming months."
EDITOR'S NOTE: Lily Meschi of Iran Alive Ministries and Dr. Frank Banfill of KBC will be available for media interviews at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tenn., February 20-23.
