TITUSVILLE, Fla., Aug. 24, 2020 /Standard Newswire/ -- President Trump's agenda for a second term will move America forward while building on his "bedrock position" of protecting the unborn and transforming the courts, according to Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life.
Father Pavone urged voters to focus both on the accomplishments of the president's first term and the far-reaching goals of the new agenda, which include job creation; protecting Social Security and Medicare; prosecuting violent extremist groups, and dismantling human trafficking networks.
"Obama promised 'hope and change' for America but failed to deliver on that promise," Father Pavone said. "President Trump delivered both in his first term."
He urged all Americans to watch this week's Republican National Convention to see for themselves the stark differences between the two parties: The Democrats, who want taxpayer-funded abortion throughout pregnancy, and the Republicans, led by the most pro-life president ever elected, who will protect the unborn.
"America's promise, opportunity, heroes and greatness will be displayed in a prominent way at the convention," Father Pavone said.
Priests for Life will live stream the convention Monday through Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m. ET, at EndAbortion.TV
Priests for Life (EndAbortion.US) is the world's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated exclusively to ending abortion. Pro-life efforts are working. The abortion rate in America is the lowest it has been since Roe v. Wade and in recent years states have passed more than 400 laws to protect the unborn. The number of freestanding abortion clinics in the U.S. has dropped from 2179 in 1991 down to 710 today, and President Trump has placed 200 pro-life judges on the federal bench.
