LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28, 2020 /Standard Newswire/ -- A new tree for a new season on Azusa Street! The color line has been washed away by the blood of Jesus or has it?
Apostle Fred Berry leads a new planting and issues a challenge to the body of Christ! As we plant this tree and declare our unity in the body of Christ! Let us build together the Azusa Street memorial wall that honors Pastor William J. Seymour and the Azusa Street revival! This wall project will honor the multi-cultural church and movement which stood on holy ground and declared racial reconciliation in a time of great racial division in America; many years before MLK JR. lead the civil rights movement in America!
The mural that has been approved by the JACCC and waits for funding from Pentecostals of the 62 denominations in 33 countries, there are over 800 million members to date. We challenge the Pentecostal World Fellowship, Empower21, Assemblies of God and many other Pentecostal/charismatic organizations and churches to show the world that the color line has truly been washed away by the blood of Jesus! Unity in the body of Christ needs to be displayed for the world to see! Jesus declared in John 17:20-23 "the world will know by our love one for another that the father sent the son." It is time to come together and build together a new Christian Unity from Azusa Street. Join our Protestant and Pentecostal Protest (PPP) as Sean Feucht of "Let Us Worship" leads us in worship on Azusa Street @ 3pm!
The Azusa Awakening New Year's Eve celebration will convene leaders from many of the denominations and churches that were born from the 1906 revival! The theme for this years celebration is "Contending for God's Glory!" "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts." Haggai 2:9 KJV
