TROY, N.Y., Sept. 6, 2023 /Standard Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by author Jy'Quan Stewart:

Pastor Effie Chapman, the wife of Elder John Chapman born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and died in Rensselaer, New York. Pastor Effie Chapman was a female African American Apostolic Pentecostal Holiness preacher.

She preached on the streets, in revival, and in homes. She even prophesied a coming earthquake in Los Angeles, California.

One night she was preaching at a revival with over 200 people, but that night that's all God wanted her there for. She felt like she was going to fly away and said, "Something will happen, and I'll be a part of it." She told the Lord, "I'll leave Los Angeles tonight."

All she had in her pocket was ten dollars, and that was for a bill. The Lord helped her with funds, and she moved to Rensselaer, New York. Pastor Chapman started a house church called "Church of Jesus Christ Light Of The World."

People thought Pastor Chapman was crazy. God spoke to her, and she heard him. Pastor Chapman used to see things, and God gave her visions of the future.

Pastor Chapman prophesied her husband, Elder John Chapman, was going to pass away to his favorite song. When his favorite song was playing, he passed away. Effie Chapman was the woman of God.

Pastor Effie Chapman was called home on August 28, 2003 at the the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home.
