SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, Oct. 12 /Standard Newswire/ -- Dr. Alan Keyes is slated to speak at rallies in South Dakota Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Oct. 16, 17, 18), in connection with a Nov. 7 referendum on South Dakota's new ban on abortion.

The abortion ban--signed into law March 6 by Gov. Mike Rounds--has been forced to a referendum by pro-abortion activists.

 

Polls show South Dakota voters are almost evenly divided on whether to keep or overturn the restrictive abortion law--considered the most restrictive in the nation--with about 20 percent undecided.

 

The pro-life rallies are sponsored by the South Dakota Family Policy Council.

 

Dr. Keyes will also be interviewed Friday, Oct. 13, on radio station KSLT about his upcoming visit to South Dakota. Host Jon Anderson will talk with Dr. Keyes at 8:30 a.m. Mountain Time.
