New Book Release: 'The Last Great Spiritual Conflict'

LAWTON, Okla., May 20, 2024 /Standard Newswire/ -- Christian historian and Bible expositor, Michael D. Fortner, has released another book filled with surprising insights and revelations; The Last Great Spiritual Conflict: Satan's War Against Pentecostals and Charismatics.

Delving deep into the archives of Pentecostal history, the author discovered an ominous vision published in 1916 that predicted two great attacks to come upon modern Pentecostals and Charismatics.

He argues that the first attack was successfully defeated, but the second attack was the rise of the Word of Faith movement and its related revivals with strange signs and wonders, such as chicken clucking and dog barking, which the author calls "negative manifestations." He believes God actually sends the "negative manifestations" to make us question what is happening, to warn us about the false doctrines and false spirits involved.

With meticulous research, this book traces the creation of the WOF through Kenneth Hagin, and shows how he was directly deceived by Satan.

Fortner asserts that Stanley H. Frodsham, a retired editor of the Pentecostal Evangel, prophesied the rise of these "anointed" false teachers in 1965.

The author criticizes the WOF movement for its deviation from the practices of early Pentecostals, and strayed from historical Christianity, stating that they teach a heretical version of the gospel that undermines the divinity of Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross.

Most books on this subject were written by those who oppose the entire Pentecostal/Charismatic movement, but Fortner does not oppose original Pentecostalism, as he grew up attending an old-fashioned Pentecostal church that warned about the false doctrines of the WOF movement.

About the author:
Michael D. Fortner is a historian, journalist and Bible expositor with a God-given ability to figure things out and think outside the box. He is the author of several Christian books, including The Fall of Babylon and The Final Antichrist.
