WASHINGTON, Feb. 13, 2018 /Standard Newswire/ -- FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page describing the pro-life community in the texts said, they "hated these people," referred to hundreds of thousands of peaceful people participating in the annual March for Life as "F*cking marchers," and "Assholes," and hoped they could "cancel the permit" for the event.
Members of the pro-life community will have a news conference on Wednesday, February 14, at 11:00 a.m. in front of FBI Headquarters located at 935 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. where they will share their concerns and a letter that has been sent to FBI Director Wray and discuss seeking a face to face meeting.
A copy of the letter is included in this news release.
Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition in Washington, D.C. states;
"In light of these hate filled texts, the pro-life movement has serious questions concerning the impartiality and credibility of the FBI toward the pro-life movement and we question if we can truly expect a thorough, credible and unbiased investigation to be carried out against Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers for their role in trafficking human remains from abortion?
"To put this in context, could one imagine the outrage and anger of the civil rights community if members of the FBI described them as 'f*cking marchers' and 'assholes' and went on to state they hated them and wanted to 'cancel the permit' for their protected First Amendment activities? Of course, if these words were used to describe members of the gay, women's rights, or any other community, there would be equal and justified anger and mistrust."

Dear Director Wray;
The cornerstone of federal law enforcement is the commitment that every investigation will be impartial, centered on facts and have no political or ideological overtones. Americans must have the full confidence that, regardless of their beliefs or values, they will be treated fairly by the FBI without any bias or prejudice.
The FBI's motto of fidelity, bravery and integrity is best described by these powerful words:
"Within the FBI there must remain a faithfulness to duty; a loyalty to discovering the facts without bias and shielded from the influence of politics. The FBI, its agents and the organization, must be brave. Brave not only in the sense of putting one's life in danger to save the lives of others, but brave in protecting the U.S. Constitution and the rights it bestows all Americans. The FBI must maintain the utmost integrity, not only within its investigative and intelligence missions, but also within its own walls. Honesty and transparency are critical to the FBI maintaining the trust of its federal, state, and local partners, but most importantly to preserving the trust of the citizens it serves."-- Medium.com
We could not agree more and that is why it was so troubling to see comments made by FBI agent, Peter Strzok, and FBI attorney, Lisa Page, concerning the pro-life movement and the March for Life held in Washington, D.C. every year.
In text messages recently released, Agent Strzok describes hundreds of thousands of peaceful participants in the March for Life as "Fucking marchers making traffic problems." He then goes on to state that he would like to "cancel the permit" of a protected and legal First Amendment activity in our nation's capital.
These are stunning comments for any public official to make, but they are unconscionable when made by a high ranking member of the world's premier law enforcement agency who should be protecting the First Amendment and not seeking to crush it.
FBI attorney Lisa Page reveals her bias about the pro-life community when she states, "I truly hate these people" and calls us "assholes." It is difficult to fathom that an attorney working for the FBI could make such biased and insensitive comments about millions of law abiding Americans.
In light of these offensive texts, the pro-life movement has serious questions concerning the impartiality and credibility of the FBI toward our community. For example, can we expect to be treated fairly and without bias by your agency? Is there a culture of animosity toward the pro-life movement by the FBI? Are there systemic prejudices by the FBI toward peaceful citizens who oppose the violence of abortion? Finally, can we truly expect a thorough, credible and unbiased investigation to be carried out against Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers for their role in trafficking human remains from abortion?
To put this in context, Director Wray, could you imagine the outrage and anger of the civil rights community if members of the FBI described them as "fucking marchers" and "assholes" and went on to state they hated them and wanted to "cancel the permit" to their protected First Amendment rights? Of course, if these words were used to describe members of the gay, women's, or immigration rights communities, there would be equal and justified anger and mistrust.
To move forward and help establish an atmosphere of trust and openness between the pro-life movement and the FBI, we are asking for a face-to-face meeting with you in Washington, D.C. We want to address some of these serious concerns and questions about these troubling text messages and how the Bureau is handling current investigations regarding abortion providers.
Director Wray, be assured the vast majority of the pro-life community respects and prays for the dedicated men and women of the FBI who put their lives on the line daily to ensure the rights and freedoms of all Americans are protected. Our hope is through conversation and dialogue these bonds of respect and trust will be strengthened.
We look forward to hearing from you shortly as we all work together to help promote the founding principles of our nation, which ensure "equal justice under law" for every citizen.
