SHERIDAN, Wyo., Sept. 15, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — In a world ruled by scrolling thumbs and 280-character limits, an upcoming faith-based book—The Bible in Tweets (release date: October 1st)— meets would-be Bible readers where they are. This innovative title retells Scripture—from creation to the wait for the Messiah—in punchy, poetic, tweet-length, character-driven posts designed for today’s fast-paced, digitally wired readers.

Whether you’re a longtime believer, a curious skeptic, or a youth pastor searching for a Bible study tool that actually connects with teens and young adults, The Bible in Tweets delivers ancient truth in a format that makes daily scripture reading clear, quick, and surprisingly fun—without language like thee, thou, and thine.

Here are TWO EXCERPTS that are examples of what The Bible in Tweets is like:

GOD    @ElohimRemember what I said about Day Six, when I told man they had two responsibilities—acting as steward over the animals and their environment, and not fooling with the one tree I told them was off limits? Well, they fooled around and found out. The way the story was told to me, a serpent got the female crossed up with twisted logic about what I supposedly said and what I allegedly was trying to hide from man. Long story short, she ate the fruit of the forbidden tree, found it tasty, and thought, Why not share this with the male? He chose to act on her influence instead of obeying the only “Thou shalt not” that existed at that point in the timeline.

GOD    @ElohimMy original intent was for man to live forever. But from that moment on, he was a dead man walking. When I stopped by the garden for our daily check-in session, the vibe was off. I knew something was amiss. I hollered out to the male, “Aye, where are you?” Bruh-man was trying to hide from me because, according to him, they were naked and ashamed—as if I hadn’t sculpted every curve of their bodies with my own two hands. He and the female had taken it upon themselves to invent the concept of clothing. Those two geniuses took some fig leaves and sewed them together to serve as coverings for their private parts. Though I was upset, I couldn’t help but laugh at the irony of two dying things feeling the need to wrap themselves in dead things. I found it funny, but not funny enough to keep me from evicting them from the garden and leaving them to fend for themselves outside of its safe and orderly abundance.

Second Excerpt:

ELIJAH    @TishbiteTruthTellerIsrael! I’ll tell you the same thing my mama used to tell me when I was a child: “What you’re not gon’ do is keep running in and out. Decide right now whether you want to be inside or outside.” I say that to say, if The LORD is God, follow him. But if Baal is God, follow him. Whichever you choose, say it with your chest and do it wholeheartedly.

ELIJAH    @TishbiteTruthTellerHearing nothing, I can only assume you’re not convinced. But stay tuned. I propose a little demonstration: Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I’ll prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. Then they can call on the name of their god, and I will call on the name of The LORD. The god who answers by fire—he is God. Prophets of Baal: Y’all go first.

 **Later That Day**

ELIJAH    @TishbiteTruthTellerIs anyone else here as bored as I am from standing around seeing a whole lotta nothing? We’ve all been out here for hours listening to the Baal prophets’ fruitless chants and worthless pleas to an impotent god. Oh, you need more time? Maybe Baal needs to wake up, have his coffee, and stretch before he clocks in for a shift as your god? Which one of you neglected to wake him up early so he’d be ready?
