WASHINGTON, Jan. 12, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — On Wednesday, January 14, members of Congress and the U.S. faith community will come together to detail a strategic plan to assist persecuted Christians in Nigeria after the Christmas Day air strike. Leaders will share data that shows who is responsible for specific attacks in the region – and where the Trump Administration should immediately focus its efforts.

Equipping the Persecuted will debut a new, updated, interactive map that shows the locations of verified attacks against Christians. It’s called the Nigeria Terror Tracker. This makes it simple for journalists to track and visualize years’ worth of data and trends.

“When genocide is happening, neutrality is complicity,” said Judd Saul, the founder of Equipping the Persecuted. “The Nigeria Terror Tracker exposes five years of terror—who carried it out, where it happened, and who was ignored. Our data shows President Trump’s administration has not confronted the true perpetrators of mass violence against Christians, such as the Fulani Ethnic Militia. We are calling the press, policymakers, and conscience of this nation to hear the facts and act.”

Last year, Congressman Marlin Stutzman introduced the “Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act of 2025.” Additionally, Congressman Bill Huizenga led a congressional delegation to Nigeria to engage with officials and religious leaders on governance, security, and religious freedom issues.
