BOSTON, Sept. 11, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — Join Rev. Merrie Turner with Hosts Apostle Frank and Drucilla Mwebesa as we re-dig the Awakening wells of Revivalist Jonathan Edwards with worship artist Terry MacAlmon, Bishop Grace Lubega of Uganda and Todd Galberth. God is moving in New England from Plymouth Rock to the campuses of Harvard and MIT to let His freedom of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Ring (Genesis 26:15-22). We welcome people of faith to join us and stand in praise and worship until God’s presence inhabits our praises.
During the American Revolution the Isaac Watts hymnals were used for congregational singing commonly in the churches. The cannons used in warfare were ignited by black powder which had to be tamped down into the barrels. The soldiers tore out pages of these books and waded them up and they were used to put in the barrels to force the black powder into position to then fire the cannon balls. The battle cry of the military commander became “GIVE THEM WATTS BOYS.” In other words, give them worship, give them God’s Word.
In the book of Kings, we see the battle strategy against the enemies of Israel was the same. The Lord said to send the tribe of Judah (worship) first. The singers, the instrumentalists who played the harp and string instruments went first in battle. God set ambushes against their enemy and when they got to the place where they expected warfare the other army was already dead on the ground through the power of the Holy Spirit. Then the Lord said, Tell them to go in and take the spoils.
God is Awakening the Sleeping Giant of the Church in this hour.
