ATLANTA, GA, Nov. 25, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — Television producer, TV host, author, speaker, former Atlanta Connect Leader for Christian Women in Media, and Executive Producer of the Vision TV show, Destiny Yarbrough, announces the December release of her newest book, Media for Kingdom Purpose.
Media for Kingdom Purpose is a timely resource for today’s media professionals, content creators, and communicators. The book is packed with real stories, live experiences, and actionable insight for content creators interested in leveraging or entering the media world.
“I hope to leave readers with tools to feel informed, motivated, and better equipped to move forward with purpose,” Yarbrough said of her new book.
Readers will uncover the tools and perspective needed to thrive in the media realm.
Yarbrough has been in the media space for more than a decade and, without a map to navigate the muddy waters; she has relied on pure grit and tenacity, her network, mentors, and others who’ve gone before her. For her, there was no clear path or instruction booklet when she entered the media realm. She realized others could benefit from her on-the-job training and wanted to provide a useful resource.
“I see a need for clarity, guidance, and support in a space where so many people are trying to find their call in the media space,” Yarbrough said. “The goal was to create something practical, relatable, and uplifting, to inspire and empower others to step into media.”
With experience in Christian media, she relies on her faith and spiritual connection to discern her best approach in media. Recently, she felt called to write the book after a significant prompting.
“God told me to write the book over a year ago,” Yarbrough said, “I did not do it right away. He told me if I didn’t write it someone else would and I would miss my Kairos moment. I stepped out in obedience.”
The book will leave the reader equipped to dive into various media channels from podcasting to streaming TV, and other media channels, and provide insight into working in media.
