WENONAH, N.J., Sept. 5, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — Gospel recording artist, worship leader, and founder of T.H.S.A. Records, Katrice Cornett, returns with a moving new single, “My Destiny,” available now on all digital music platforms. What began as a commissioned theme song for the women’s retreat at St. John Baptist Church quickly became a divine revelation — a personal anthem that echoed Katrice’s own journey of faith, healing, and purpose.
Written from a deeply authentic place, “My Destiny” tells the story of a young girl who met Jesus at the altar during a Girl Scouts Sunday service at just 13 years old. Years later, around the age of 34, the light truly turned on — not only about who Jesus was, but about who she was in Him.
“I thought I was writing a song for someone else,” Katrice reflects, “but I soon realized I was singing the lyrics to my own life. I couldn’t shake it. The melody lived in my spirit, even after the retreat was over.”
With music produced by David Downing, this soul-stirring ballad captures the essence of surrender, worship, and the divine realization that Jesus is not just the guide — He is destiny.
“There are pivotal moments when everything becomes clear,” says Katrice. “This song was one of those moments. Every time I sing it, I’m reminded: I was created to glorify Him.”
“My Destiny” is more than a song — it’s a personal declaration turned public offering. It invites listeners to reflect, realign, and remember the reason they were created.
Listen to “My Destiny” now and let the melody guide you into your purpose.
“My Destiny” will be available on all digital platforms. Download your copy and add it to your playlist Today!
