ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn., March 18, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — For Decades, Hollywood, liberal academia and progressive clergy have attacked the final days of Jesus and his resurrection on TV. Can we trust the final chapters of the gospels or are they fairytales? The following are their strange beliefs about Jesus’ last days that have been broadcast to millions on The History Channel’s, Discovery Channel’s and other networks.

• Jesus forgave Satan’s sins at the Garden of Gethsemane.

• Scholars believe that Pontius Pilate releasing the criminal Barabbas to the multitude is historical fiction.

• Jesus was crucified alone at Golgotha. No one was there to witness Jesus’ suffering and death. No family, no followers, no Roman soldiers. No religious leaders. No one.

• There was a conspiracy between the Roman soldiers and the followers of Jesus to fake Jesus’ death with a drug to make Jesus appear dead. Later, Jesus’ followers went into the tomb to revive Jesus to fake a Resurrection.

• Jesus’ body wasn’t put into the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea but was buried in a shallow grave where wild animals dug up Jesus’ remains and ate his corpse.

• After Jesus rose from the dead, he was a ghost. Jesus didn’t look visually normal in the presence of others after his resurrection.

What is the truth? Can we trust what the Bible tells us about Jesus’ final days and resurrection? Are the final chapters of the gospels historical fact or are they fairytales as Hollywood, atheistic academics and liberal, progressive clergy would like us to believe?
