KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 23, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — GOEX Apparel is celebrating the successful opening of its new factory in Haiti on October 1, marking a significant milestone in its mission to create dignified work that transforms lives.

Years in the making, the factory launch reflects the perseverance of the Haiti team, who worked tirelessly through challenges to make this vision a reality. The opening day was filled with joy and hope as employees, partners, and community members gathered to dedicate the space and begin this next chapter.

“This factory is more than just a building,” said Jessica Ray, GOEX President. “It represents opportunity, stability, and the belief that ethical fashion can change lives. We are incredibly proud of our team in Haiti and grateful for everyone who has supported this journey.”

Despite the challenges facing Haiti, GOEX is both excited and humbled to announce the creation of jobs, fresh and anew, in Port-au-Prince. Despite the challenges in the area, this is an incredible move forward:

• People in Haiti want to work now more than ever

• Traditional charity models aren’t breaking the orphan cycle

• Haitian people desire the dignity that comes from providing for their families through their own work

• Employment empowers people to be generous within their own communities

The new facility is designed to expand production capacity, create additional jobs, and provide fair wages to workers who are eager to provide for their families and invest in their community. Each garment produced will continue GOEX’s legacy of combining fashion with impact — proving that consumers can make a difference simply by choosing how they shop.

As GOEX looks ahead, the Haiti factory stands as a beacon of what’s possible when perseverance meets purpose. The company remains committed to ensuring that every purchase empowers workers, sustains families, and strengthens communities locally and globally. The new factory not only stands behind high walls with increased security for physical safety, but it also features something even more important, a Strong Family program, which focuses on family and community-based solutions built on the leveraging of assets already available. Backed by years of research and science across cultures and agencies, we have witnessed the long-term effectiveness of this approach to not just making sure kids have enough to eat but to making sure that families and communities can flourish in the long term without ongoing charitable support. GOEX has already seen incredible results in Haiti, and our local-church-based Strong Family ministry is thriving, now supporting 928 families who are putting Strong Family principles into action.
