SEATTLE, Jan. 20, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — In a bold challenge to modern theology, former New Jersey Generals and Houston Oilers player Lynn Madsen has announced the launch of The Technological Reformation, a movement declaring that the Industrial and Technological Revolutions are God’s ideas that He used our hands and fingers to create, fulfilling prophecies of Isaiah 2:2; 40:3-5 quoted by MLK and Acts 2:17-21.
“Acts 2:17,” declares Madsen, “is the Big Bang of 1776. This is the year the Steam Engine went on sale, the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the Wealth of Nations was published. God’s Spirit poured out on all flesh—scientists, engineers, and inventors—and the United States was the epicenter and still is today, so let’s celebrate it on July 4th, 2026.”
A New Lens for a New Era
Madsen’s movement is built on a “Technological Lens” of scripture, arguing that:
• The “Wonders in the Heavens” (Acts 2): Are the 14,000 satellites, GPS constellations orbiting Earth, rockets, and jet airplanes.
• The “Signs on the Earth” (Acts 2): Are the fiber optic networks, modern power grids, cars, nuclear aircraft carriers, and smartphones with GPS allowing “all flesh”, to see their locations (the blue dot) simultaneously, while being entertained with music and shows.
• The “Clean Room”: America was divinely prepared (pre-wired) with specific resources (Silicon, Gold, Oil, Copper, Coal) to serve as the “New Jerusalem” infrastructure for the world.
“My Husky Coach Don James said attitude is everything.”
Another goal of America’s 250th Birthday celebration is to shift the American “attitude” from “Citizens fighting for rights” to “Teammates playing for the same team, God’s Red White and Blue Team.” Madsen has released a comprehensive White Paper detailing the theology and strategy at FindABetterWay.net.
