TACOMA, Wash., Jan. 30, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — As National School Choice Week highlights expanding educational options for America’s children, Excelara today announced the public launch of Excelara.org, a national initiative and platform designed to equip education entrepreneurs, leaders, and parents to launch and grow hybrid and microschools rooted in Christian and classical education.

Amid declining nationwide academic outcomes, demand is growing for exceptional and affordable educational models that foster learning, virtue, and character formation. Excelara offers a comprehensive, integrated ecosystem designed to turn educational vision into sustainable schools.

“It has never been more clear that families and communities are ready for flexible approaches that restore moral formation, academic rigor, and joy in learning,” said Jennifer Burns, president of Excelara. “At Excelara, we equip education entrepreneurs with a complete solution — from curriculum and technology to operations and funding — so they can build schools that meet the needs of every child.”

Across the United States, more than 150 hybrid and microschools are forming, each built upon Excelara’s innovative school model and conservative Christian curriculum. Together, these schools represent a growing national network advancing personalized education and forming students for leadership and purpose.

Excelara’s approach combines:

• “Old school” education, delivered in a new way through a curriculum that is faithfully biblical, classically grounded, and intentionally designed to adapt to the needs of each student, anchored in a Christian and conservative worldview.

• A Socratic dialogue–based AI learning assistant designed to support personalized learning, reinforce critical thinking, and extend classical instruction through guided questioning rather than rote answers.

• A launch-to-growth system supporting legal formation, accreditation, operations, and leadership coaching.

• Funding support and education savings guidance to help families access resources for classical education.

“Excelara has been a true mentor and force multiplier in our mission to bring biblical instruction, high-quality education, and character development to the young people of southeast Texas,” said the founder of Kingdom Roots Academy. “Just as importantly, Excelara has inspired us to plan beyond our first year, encouraging sustainable growth and a vision to serve neighboring rural communities.”

To support prospective school founders, Excelara will host a free webinar “Idea to Impact Webinar for Education Entrepreneurs” on February 12, 2026, at 2 p.m. CT, introducing its model and resources for launching hybrid and microschools.

The launch of Excelara.org comes as parents increasingly exercise educational choice and policymakers expand programs that allow families to direct funding to the learning environment that best fits their child. Excelara accelerates this shift by equipping leaders to build hybrid schools that unite timeless educational principles with modern tools.
