DALLAS, Dec. 5, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) has expanded its global ministry reach with the launch of Arabic-language programs beginning in the Fall semester of 2025. The new initiative advances DTS’s mission to equip godly servant-leaders to proclaim God’s Word and build up the body of Christ worldwide.
The first cohort of ten students—based in the United States and across the Middle East—began coursework in the Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies (GCCS) and the Master of Biblical and Theological Studies (MBTS) programs. Both are offered with instruction and materials in Arabic, providing students the opportunity to study theology in their heart language while remaining active in ministry.
Dr. Milad F. Dagher, director of DTS-Arabic and associate professor of Old Testament studies, leads the program. A DTS graduate (ThM, 1997; PhD, 2006) with decades of pastoral and teaching experience, Dr. Dagher previously served in theological education and church ministry in Lebanon before joining the seminary to develop the Arabic program.
“Many called to ministry in the Arabic-speaking world need access to the same biblical training—delivered in their own language,” said Dr. Dagher. “My dream is to see seminaries working together to make better programs that serve Arabic-speaking students everywhere.”
Arabic is spoken by nearly 400 million people worldwide, making it one of the most strategic languages for gospel ministry today. Through the DTS-Arabic program, the seminary continues its century-long legacy of teaching biblical truth and preparing ministry leaders to serve Christ across cultures and languages.
