CARLSBAD, Calif., Oct. 8, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — San Diego County author Victorya Wright is set to release her debut book, God Storys (Clay Bridges Press), in November 2025. The book serves as a compilation of 30 true, standalone vignettes that testify to Divine encounters or “God-instances” in the author’s life.
Have you ever felt God’s presence so strongly that it seemed as if He was right beside you? Since childhood, Wright has experienced God’s undeniable presence, leading her in ways both profound and personal. When uncertainty arose, she sought clarity through prayer and her own version of the ancient Thummim and Urim – trusting God to reveal the way forward. Her intent is for the stories to inspire, strengthen faith, and for both men and women to look beyond their daily lives and be encouraged to draw closer in relationship to an intensely personal and passionate God.
Wright’s true stories highlight her attunement to recognizing how God has orchestrated every personal and unique circumstance of her life whether good, bad, or hard. A random encounter in an obscure café in Europe and a family trip to the Islamic sultanate of Brunei turn out to be Divine appointments.
Wright claims her book is all about “Him” . . . about having a personal relationship with God. She describes herself as an ordinary person, as an ordinary Christian. She states that she is merely His scribe writing out of obedience to Him. As you read about the great, yet ordinary, things that He has done, her hope is that you will be filled with a new sense of awe and wonder.
Born in Los Angeles during one of the city’s largest earthquakes, Wright took her first breath as the building swayed, and the gurney rolled—a dramatic beginning marked by both chaos and grace. She is the mother of five living children, who reside across five U.S. states, and a grandmother [Nonna] to 12 living grandchildren. She has spent most of her life raising and equipping her children and working in healthcare; and continues to serve part-time in her orofacial myofunctional therapy private practice in San Diego County and beyond.
The God Storys Book Launch is on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Carlsbad City Library, Gowland Meeting Room, at 1775 Dove Lane, Carlsbad. Open House is from 12:30 – 4:30. Come for live readings and drawings for free books. Refreshments will be served.
