NASHVILLE, Feb. 9, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Award-winning writer, producer, actress, and host Marion MacKenzie, co-founder of Highlander Studios, has launched The UPside: Conversations That Light Up the World, a new Christian television talk show created to bring hope, healing, and biblical truth to a searching generation. Filmed in Nashville, Tennessee, the 30-minute weekly series invites viewers into meaningful conversations that reflect God’s heart for restoration, wisdom, and purpose in every area of life.
The UPside features authentic dialogue with Christian thought leaders, authors, artists, ministry pioneers, entrepreneurs, scientists, and cultural influencers who are shaping the world through faith. Each episode addresses themes including spiritual and emotional healing, transformation through Christ, leadership rooted in biblical values, faith in culture and entertainment, and stewardship of health and wholeness.
Designed as a refuge from cultural confusion, The UPside offers redemptive storytelling, practical insight, and encouragement for believers seeking clarity, direction, and renewed faith.

Joining her as co-producer is Russell Pyle, CEO of Highlander Studios. An award-winning producer, editor, set and lighting designer, Pyle has contributed to 350 productions worldwide across television, film, opera, theme parks, AI visual storytelling, and global live events. His honors include multiple Telly Awards, the LA Drama Circle Award, the Margaret Hartford Award, the Dramalogue Award, and recognition in Who’s Who in American Theatre.
