WASHINGTON, July 15, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — On the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, the National Monuments Foundation in collaboration with the Andrew Young Foundation and Good of All, announced an innovative educational program to engage next generation voices as ambassadors for our democracy by connecting monuments honoring the greatest figures of our past to our increasingly digital world.

The program will feature video kiosks to be installed at key national monuments with next generation voices reading famous quotes from the historical figures who those monuments honor. Videos from the kiosk will also be used online and distributed through social media.

Among other things, this program will aim to:

• Promote the educational kiosks as a public attraction

• Engage future leaders recognized by the Andrew Young Foundation and Good of All as voices

• Hold an annual public event announcing the national release of each year’s videos

• Promote the videos as an educational resource online

• Expand from monuments in DC to federal monuments in every state

Rodney M. Cook Jr., founder and president of the National Monuments Foundation, said, “I couldn’t be prouder to include the exemplary young leaders identified by the Andrew Young Foundation and Good of All in this new educational initiative. I look forward to seeing their videos educate and engage a new generation about civil rights, nonviolence, the pursuit of justice and empowerment.”

“I’ve had a long career pursuing justice. I’ve learned that the work never stops, but the tools we use keep changing. These kiosks will bring the work of Martin Luther King and other great leaders to the young people who are our future. The most important thing we can do is educate the next generation, and I think these kiosks will be incredibly helpful,” said Ambassador Andrew Young, a close colleague of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Chairman of the Andrew Young Foundation.

Dr. Matthew Daniels, Chairman of Good of All and creator of the Andrew Young Fellowship program, whose students will be featured, added that “The young people we’ve identified are standing on the shoulders of giants like Ambassador Young and Rodney Cook’s father, but I believe they will emerge as leaders in their own right, helping to stem the rising tide of violence in our nation and world.”

The Andrew Young Fellowship program is hosted at Anderson University in South Carolina with over a dozen HBCUs and universities from across the country participating annually.
